Anne has over 30 years’ experience in the health sector, prior to working at Conectus she held positions as Director of Health for Niue, Chief Operating Officer, General Manager of Health Services and Quality and Risk Manager at Wairarapa. She is passionate about improving all aspects of health and wellbeing currently enjoying her work at Conectus and seeing the positive impact research has on improving service delivery

Director of Immunisation Research, IMAC

Helen is the Academic Lead for Immunisation Research and Vaccinology at IMAC and a senior lecturer at the University of Auckland. She has a background in biological sciences including immunology and a PhD in Vaccinology

Katrina Broughton

Project Analyst, Conectus

Katrina is a Chartered Accountant and has worked for companies large and small including NZ Post and Zintel.  Her role within Conectus is to provide financial support to projects that sit under the Conectus brand

Loretta Roberts

National Manager, IMAC

Loretta has worked with IMAC since 2000, and is based in New Plymouth. Prior to IMAC, Loretta worked for 8 years in Hong Kong and China in various maternal child health settings and during this time, with husband Craig adopted 3 wonderful girls. Much of Loretta’s nursing experience has been in teaching, learning and developing nursing and health education programmes

Manager and Clinical Advisor Well Child Promotion, Conectus

Marguerite trained as a community Paediatrician in UK and has been in New Zealand for over 16 years now working mostly for Counties Manukau in South Auckland but also across the other Auckland DHBs as a specialist developmental paediatrician . She has been with IMAC since 1999 working to promote the WellChild / Tamariki Ora programme and health book alongside the immunisation schedule

Nikki is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Practice and Primary Care at the University of Auckland and continues to work part time in general practice,  the NUHS Pacific Health Centre in Strathmore, Wellington . She is the Director of the  Immunisation Advisory Centre which she developed in 1998 as a communication strategy to improve immunisation coverage in NZ. She lives in Wellington and has an office in the Otago School of Medicine in Newtown, Wellington. She is involved in a range of other child issues and active in a range of child health advocacy issues

Rawiri Wharemate
Rawiri Wharemate

Kaumatua

Rāwiri is of Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Porou, Tainui, Ngāti Pūkenga descent. Rawiri has been the Kaumātua for Werry Centre since its inception in 2003.  He has extensive experience in the Child and Youth Mental Health field as well.  As part of this role as Kaumatua for Conectus, Rawiri provides guidance to the executive management group and any Conectus–based staff or projects on aspect of Maori protocol, tikanga and liaison with local Iwi or Hapu

Theo did a BSc(Hons) in Social Psychology with The University of Auckland. Since 2003 Theo has worked across a variety of UniServices projects within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, including the School of Nursing, Department of Surgery and the School of Pharmacy.  This culminated in his longest stint with IMAC as project manager, and recently communications. He also has a background in theatre lighting and film and TV post production
